Hi All! I'm back in the world of blogging!

New Year, new job, new house- new look sh*s & giggles! Lots going on hence the blog hiatus. I also have a long long list of subjects to share. Although I haven't been blogging I have been busy!

egg-cellent!

you all know i like an nice egg at the weekend but now I can have my fav weekend breakfast during the week at my desk! the lovely guys at Leon now do a poached egg pot with a choice of 6 toppings including truffle gruyere, chorizo & saucy beans & ham hock & saucy beans which is what i sampled!! it's really good & well seasoned with or with out toast- perfect for a tasty breakfast that's not sugary. mmm super tasty well done Leon- i can't wait to try them all!! have a look! x

blue eggs for breakfast!

pastels are huge this season and this extends to food - sweets & cupcakes are a given, but eggs? yes! you can get these gorgeous eggs from sainsbury's. they're from a farm in good old Cornwall of course! the shells are an amazing powder blue colour from the Old Cotswold Legbar hen.

but the question is how do they taste? i poached them this morning and had them with some seamed broccoli salt & pepper and a sprinkle of hemp seeds (my new favourite thing- i'm putting them on everything!) and they were damned tasty! go grab yourself some fashionable eggs!
